Biography
Denis began his career in Logistics at a well respected freight agent, Atlasair, in the Heathrow area.
He continued his career with United Parcel Service holding various senior management roles rising to the position of General Manager of the airfreight division for the UK. Over a period of twenty years Denis gained hands on experience of Operations, Industrial Engineering, IT and Aviation Security.
In 2001 he set up Business Change Consultancy Ltd, working with various companies carrying out both Business Process and Security Reviews of their supply chains. Denis has gained a reputation within the freight/security industry for his in depth knowledge of the international supply chain.
In 2003 Denis was invited by the DfT to become an Independent Validator within the Aviation Security arena, which he is still involved with, holding Aviation Security Managers Level G.
Denis was approached in 2007 to assist HMRC with the Security section of the AEO scheme developing, and presenting, the first training program for HMRC Officers. This was to provide an insight into cargo security.
Since that time Denis has worked with many clients assisting them through all aspects of the AEO application process, providing consultancy to all business sectors involved in the international supply chain.
